We are centrally located on South Main Street. The new owners, recent New York expatriates, have lovingly restored the home to its former beauty and elegance. The Historic architecture can be seen in the green slate roof and drop mansard façade of the house. Magnificent carved woodwork and unique faux marble tromp l'oeil fireplaces are found in both the formal living room as well as the lady's sitting room. The house also features heart-of-pine floors, French doors, and 14-foot ornate ceilings. We offer you the use of an exercise room featuring The Parabody 220 full gym system, an Image 833 Stepmaster, and a Weider Power Glide. Work out while over looking the formal gardens as you keep in shape. Or walk through the gardens and enjoy the fountains, statuary and flowers, weather permitting. We also offer the use of a small office with Internet connection. Sit in the equine and canine art filled library, reading a good book ,or relax watching a movie or cable television. During the milder weather, sit in an overstuffed chair on one of our comfortable large porches, and leisurely watch time pass you by in this beautiful town as you sip a cool iced tea and wave to passing new friends. We have two bedrooms available for guests, decorated in period antiques and fine Oriental rugs. Both bedrooms feature a private bath and cable television. One room offers two twin-size beds, while the other is equipped with a full-size bed as well as a chaise lounge. Breakfast will be served at your convenience in our lavish formal dining room on antique Irish linens with fine crystal and china.
